  Sally is exceedingly unprofessional and demonstrates such an obvious bias in her evaluative abilities that I really have to wonder where she was that day in law school when they discussed objectivity and removing personal bias.
  
  She has engaged in completely inappropriate communication with the other party involved in the case, sharing highly subjective opinions with said party and stating them as if they were fact. For example interpreting hurried and anxious speech muffled by a cell phone in a vehicle as sounding "intoxicated", even though this was an anecdote passed along to her by her secretary that she was not even privy to. Then she passes along this highly subjective anecdote to the other party in a custody battle as if it were fact and she hasn't even finished her official report yet.
  
  Sally - This is not professional conduct OR an objective evaluation if you are taking not just hearsay, but EXTREMELY subjective interpretations of how someone sounds as any sort of reliable indicator of their mental status.
  
  She further proceeded to characterize an honest miscommunication as an "inability to follow instructions" and again passes this information along as if it were fact. She completely disregarded reliable statements from someone whose statements started the whole battle to begin with. Which is it Sally? Is it reliable or unreliable? Either a person is unreliable and you can't consider anything they have to say, or they're reliable and you need to listen when they attempt to clarify things with you. You can't have it both ways, they can't be reliable and unreliable at the same time.
  
  Sally clearly began with her mind already made up rather than with the intention to provide an accurate and objective evaluation of the present circumstances. She is apparently clueless when it comes to objectivity and making simple distinctions between hearsay and anecdotes about how someone SOUNDS, and actual EVIDENCE.

  Actually, if you remove the emotional aspect of divorce, which I admit can be difficult but necessary - and get down to the nitty gritty of finding an agreement everyone can live with, I think you will find her to be exceptionally qualified, well respected by the judges and effective in her methods.
