  My family and I have been going to Townee Square in Libertyville for years and we LOVE THIS PLACE! The place has a traditional, small town feel to it and the staff is so friendly. We know them all by name and look forward to each visit. All throughout the restaurant are vintage photos of Libertyville in days past. The town is the oldest in Lake County and the pictures are fascinating. I'm a big fan of their breakfast food (especially their Classic Eggs Benedict; also love having their French toast with eggs sunny side up). They also make wonderful soup that you can take home with you. My wife orders a different kind every week. If you're looking for a truly GREAT hometown restaurant - one with real character and great breakfast and lunch food - Townee is a wonderful place to enjoy with your family. I should have written this review a long time ago. Love Townee!
